At Allies for Health + Wellbeing, intersectionality plays a crucial role in the organization’s mission to provide inclusive, holistic healthcare. Intersectionality refers to the various ways people can identify - such as race, gender and sexual orientation - that can overlap in ways that create unique experiences and challenges.

Stigma, discrimination and painful past experiences can make it difficult for people to access the healthcare and services they need. Allies staff work to make sure that everyone visiting the organization feels seen and heard by those they interact with.

Allies for Health + Wellbeing offers inclusive and holistic healthcare – including HIV specialty care, STI testing and treatment, gender-affirming care, gynecological care and primary care – to anyone, regardless of their background or experiences.
