In 1985, a group of committed volunteers came together to support those in our region living with HIV/AIDS when no one else would. Forty years later, Allies continues this critical mission. 

Over the past 40 years, Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force (PATF) and now Allies for Health + Wellbeing have evolved to meet the changing needs of southwestern PA community, through advances in HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention. Today, Allies provides holistic healthcare, supportive human services, outreach and education to more than 3,000 people each year.   

Allies will mark its 40th anniversary with a birthday celebration on Friday, April 11, at the Roxian Theatre from 6 to 11 p.m. At this landmark event, we will recognize the hard work of PATF and Allies  and energize supporters to help us with the work ahead. This event will feature a VIP cocktail hour that includes an anniversary toast, entertainment, dancing, music, strolling dinner, and open bar.
