Jesse Robinson will join Shady Side Academy Senior School in August 2019 as director of the new Glimcher Tech and Design Hub, an 8,500-square-foot space dedicated to robotics, fabrication, engineering and computer science scheduled to open for the 2019-20 school year.
Baldwin-Whitehall hired Shaun Tomaszewski to become Baldwin High School’s new principal for the 2019–20 school year. Mr. Tomaszewski will fill the role of retiring principal Walter Graves.
Allies for Health + Wellbeing hired Melissa Curry as clinic director.
Allegheny Health Network named Dr. Raymond Benza as the James A. Magovern Chair in Cardiovascular Research.

William L. Kingsbury was selected CEO-elect for the Masonic Villages. Mr. Kingsbury will become CEO on Dec. 1 upon the retirement of Joseph E. Murphy, who has served as the senior executive for the organization since 1983.
Knepper Press has acquired TBN Direct commercial printing from The Buffalo News. Knepper Press is one of Pittsburgh’s oldest and largest commercial printers. Knepper Press will keep the “TBN Direct” name brand in Buffalo, N.Y.The office in Buffalo will be in leased space at the Buffalo News.
Awards and Honors
Tucker Arensberg, P.C. said Michael A. Cassidy was honored as one of seven health care lawyers in the nation to be selected in 2019 as a fellow of the American Health Lawyers Association. Mr. Cassidy is chair of the business and finance department and focuses his practice on compliance, credentialing and peer review, reimbursement, contracts, health information technology, privacy laws and telehealth issues for physicians.
Samantha Post, marketing and human resources manager for T&M Hardware & Rental, was named one of the independent hardware industry’s 2019 Young Retailer of the Year honorees by the North American Retail Hardware Association.
The Frick Pittsburgh said Brad Gentile, a teacher at Propel Charter Schools in McKeesport, will receive the 2019 Roy A. Hunt Foundation Award for Commitment to Education in the Arts and Humanities. The award is given annually to a teacher or school in recognition of a demonstrated commitment to participation in the Frick’s educational programs and successful integration of the arts into the learning experience. Mr. Gentile has been teaching art and design to students from kindergarten through eighth grade at Propel McKeesport for 15 years.
WTW Architects received the 2019 ACUI Facility Design Award for its design of the renovation of Penn State University’s Findlay Commons on the State College campus.
